BITHYNIA, Nicaea. Vespasian. AD 69-79. Æ 29mm (17.16 g, 6h). M. Plancius Varus, proconsularis. Struck circa AD 70-71. Laureate head right / Draped bust of Dionysus left, wearing ivy wreath. RPC II 628/8 = Stumpf 346f (this coin): RG 46. VF, green and brown patina, light overall roughness.
